Confirm which app is giving the error – Docker Desktop or Azure Data Studio. Run the app as Administrator – Right-click the icon and choose “Run as administrator.” Ensure system requirements are met: For Docker, make sure virtualization is enabled in your BIOS and that WSL2 is installed (on Windows). For Azure Data Studio, ensure your system has the required .NET dependencies. Reinstall the application – Sometimes a clean reinstall fixes unexpected issues. Check logs or error details – If there’s an option for “More Info” on the error, it can point to the root cause. If the issue persists, sharing the full error message or a screenshot would help identify the exact fix. |

Bro to avoid that “unexpected error” drama again, just make sure you’ve got all the system requirements covered like WSL 2 for Docker, proper .NET stuff for Azure, and all that nerdy backend stuffs. Always get the latest versions from the official site, and maybe run them as admin the first time . Oh, and don’t randomly shut down your PC mid-install, that’s just asking for chaos. Honestly, I’d stick to official docs or trusted forums next time glad this was fixed when you saw a youtube video. |

New to programming and currently taking classes on Database Management, I had some exercises to do, and I was instructed to download Docker and Azure Studio. Followed the steps to install both applications, while launching the program I encountered this error "An Unexpected error occurred", any help to fix this error, I have restarted my computer, and it's still not running?
