Hi @ulrichburke , Thanks for being a part of the GitHub Community, we're glad you're here! If you're looking for help for this specific topic, you might want to try asking for help somewhere that focuses on this project, such as the Surge Repository. It's possible that another GitHub user might have run into this same issue and can help, but the GitHub Community Discussions focuses primarily on topics related to GitHub itself or collaboration on project development and ideas. We want to make sure you’re getting the best support you can, but this space may not be the right place for this particular topic. Best of luck! |

Dear Github.
I put my disabilities because this is the disability area, am I right? I've got an old DAW that's 32-bit VST2 for everything - by which I mean the VSTs have to be VST2. Is there a 32-bit VST2 version of Surge going anywhere and, if there is, can I download background pads/collections of pads as presets/buy collections of pads as presets for it anywhere?
Basically I love writing music, I've tried learning enough to make my own pads from scratch but, let's face it, I royally suck! I'd love to just have a lurvely, large collection of presets I can choose from to use as backings for tunes (or leads, depending) and I love the sound of pieces written using Surge.
Is there still a 32-bit VST2 version of it lying around anywhere? Or at a pinch a 64-bit VST2 - I could JBRIDGE that, couldn't I? Not good at techieness so be gentle with answers, I'm sorry I don't understand more, just lurve the sounds.
Yours hopefully,
Chris.
