I created a new account for "boda-yoli-javi" so I could create nuestrocaosperfecto.es

Everything seems to work BUT for some reason I keep getting the NotServedByPagesError error, so I cannot use HTTPS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :) Thanks!

The error NotServedByPagesError typically happens when your DNS settings (where you bought your domain) don't match what GitHub Pages expects.
The top part of your image shows a DNS lookup for a CNAME record, but for a root domain like nuestrocaosperfecto.es (no www), you actually need A records.

1. Fix your DNS Records
   Log into your domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap) and update your DNS records to point to GitHub's IP addresses. Delete any old "A" records first, then add these four:

   Ensure there is a file named exactly CNAME (all caps, no extension) in the root of your GitHub repository. It should contain only one line:
   nuestrocaosperfecto.es

3. Clear the "Stuck" State
   Sometimes the GitHub UI gets stuck on the error even after DNS is fixed:
   In your GitHub Repo Settings, Remove the domain.
   Click Save.
   Type the domain back in and click Save again.
   Wait up to 15–30 minutes for the HTTPS certificate to provision. Once it does, the "Enforce HTTPS" checkbox will become clickable.
   Why is it failing right now?
   Your DNS lookup in the screenshot is showing boda-yoli-javi.github.io as a CNAME for the root domain. Most DNS providers don't allow CNAME on a root domain (the @ symbol). Switching to the four A records listed above is the standard way to fix this.
   Have you already updated the A records in your domain registrar's dashboard? If so, it may just need a bit more time to "propagate" across the internet.

Hello, thank you for your response.

1. The A records of the root domain are already pointing to GitHub’s IP addresses.
   
   I assume that if the DNS configuration were not correct, the page wouldn’t be displayed—and it is showing.
   

2. The CNAME file exists.
   

I still have one question: should the root domain be explicitly set as “@” or left blank?
