Question how to add TOX1 support?

I have found working DTB file, networking works perfectly, it was a custom one, not bundled, I guess everything worked except bluetooth. I have tinkered and installed the rom on internal emmc, it booted without a hitch, when I was upgrading system I think it overwritten DTB, because I saw what repositories were probed and what was updated and after reboot device is unbootable, can you guide in what order should I contribute to add TOX 1 as supported device?

3. Written amlogic-s9xxx-armbian on my USB drive, placed meson-sm1-tox1 file inside dtb folder added correct name to the extlinux.conf. TV Box boots, I have network. (Attached dtb file that I have below)

4. Latest stock ROM for the decrypted TV Box and encrypted

Not related, played with it, installed on internal EMMC, it rebooted fine
sudo apt upgrade probably overwritten DTB, next reboot won't happen, otherwise it worked pretty well.

• Which kernel version did you test it on? linux-6.12.y or something else?
• Which Armbian image did you use to replace the dtb? Where did you download this Armbian image from? If it was downloaded from this repository, please let me know the exact filename. If it was downloaded from another source, please let me know the download link.

I have decompiled the file for you:

u-boot, renamed u-boot-s905x3 to the u-boot.ext and it worked fine for me

If you have some time, I can try decompiling this .dtb as a reference to write a proper .dts file. It will probably require multiple rounds of tweaking and testing. Let me know if you're available to help test it out, and we can give it a shot.

Download it and extract the .dtb file. Upload it to /boot/dtb/amlogic to overwrite the existing file with the same name, and then reboot.
Also, please double-check if this is the exact file name you are currently using.

what bootloader should I use, vanilla s905x3?

You can just use your current Armbian setup to test it. We only need to see if this dtb works properly.
The only difference is that I compiled this dtb myself. Let's try using this to replace the file you found online. Once we confirm this works, everything else is ready to go and will be supported right away.
